Export or delete your data

Download everything as an Excel file on any plan, see what Xpenses keeps and does not, and delete your account for good.

Updated: November 4, 2026

Your data is yours: you can take all of it with you and you can delete it. Both are free on every plan.

Settings, Your data: import, and export data.

Export everything

In Settings > Your data, tap Export data. You get an Excel file with your accounts, your bills and incomes, and every payment you marked. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers or LibreOffice. Export is free on purpose: it is your right to get your data in a format you can use elsewhere.

What Xpenses has, and what it never has

  • It has what you typed: accounts, balances, bills, incomes, payments, goals, categories, and the movements of statements you imported.
  • It never has your bank passwords: Xpenses does not connect to your bank.
  • Photos of receipts, QR-bills and banking apps are read on your device and never uploaded.
  • The history of changes in a shared wallet is kept for a year.

The details, including who processes what and for how long, are in the privacy policy.

Delete your account

At the bottom of Settings, Delete Account deletes your accounts, bills and payments for good. Export your data first if you want to keep it. A few things to know:

  • If you own a shared wallet, it is deleted too, also for your partner. If you are a member of someone else's wallet, only your access goes.
  • A Pro subscription is cancelled with the account.
  • AI assistants you connected lose access at once.
  • Backups are overwritten after a set number of days, as the privacy policy says; after that nothing is left.

Only want to start over? You do not need to delete the account: delete the bills you do not want, or import a fresh list.
